Submissions that do not comply with the submission requirements will not be considered for evaluation and will be returned to the author(s).

If your study requires Ethics Committee approval and you do not have an Ethics Committee Approval Document, you are not eligible to submit your manuscript.

If you have obtained Ethics Committee approval, you must upload the relevant approval document to the journal system during the submission process. You must also provide the date, approval/reference number, and name of the institution/committee in the Manuscript Submission File Template.

Please note that the date of Ethics Committee approval must precede the date on which data collection began. If the data were collected before Ethics Committee approval was obtained, the manuscript cannot be submitted to the journal.

Please make sure to indicate the data collection start date in the Manuscript Submission File Template.

Please prepare your manuscript in accordance with the BMIJ Manuscript Submission File Template provided below and upload the completed file to the Journal System when submitting your manuscript.

Turkish-language manuscripts that do not include an Extended Abstract in English will not be considered for evaluation.
