The reviewed study is accepted for publication. There is no need for correction.

Revisions Required

After reviewing the article, the referee asks for revisions. The referee does not have to review the article again. The editor is expected to accept submission after checking the revisions.

The referee detects the parts that need to be corrected. The referee wants the article to re-review after the revisions of the author. Following the re-reviewing, the referee could decide either as “accept submission” or “decline submission”.

The article is declined by the referee due to various reasons. The referee lists his/her reasons for the decline.  The editor may decline an article as well, providing the referee with the justifications. The editor may also recommend the author to send the article to another journal for publication.

Send Another Referee

The referee may use this option to state that they feel they are not the right person to review the article. The editor-in-chief assigns the referees to review according to their fields of expertise in the referee determination process. The referee may state that he/she is not the right person to referee the article. After receiving the offer to referee an article and logging into the journal system, he/she can decline the offer by clicking on the option “I will not do the review”. The decision of “send another referee” is made by the referee after reviewing the article.
