Öz
Bu çalışma, Instagram ve Twitter/X’e genç ağırlıklı bir örneklem tarafından atfedilen marka kişiliği yapılarını belirlemekte ve bu boyutlara ilişkin değerlendirmelerin platform tercihi, cinsiyet ve yaşa göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını incelemektedir. Veriler, 453 katılımcıya uygulanan ve Aksoy ve Özsomer’in (2007) Türkiye’ye özgü 39 sıfatlı marka kişiliği ölçeğinden uyarlanan ölçme aracıyla toplanmıştır. Analizlerde AFA kapsamında veri indirgeme ve açımlayıcı yapı belirleme amacıyla Temel Bileşenler Analizi ve Direct Oblimin döndürmesi; ayrıca Cronbach Alfa, bağımsız örneklemler t-testi/Welch t-testi, tek yönlü ANOVA, Bonferroni düzeltmesi ve etki büyüklükleri kullanılmıştır. Instagram’da Dinamizm, Ölçülülük, Güven, Yetkinlik, Caziplik ve Coşkunluktan oluşan altı boyut toplam varyansın %61,8’ini (α = 0,933); Twitter/X’te Dinamizm, Ölçülülük, Yetkinlik, Caziplik ve Coşkunluktan oluşan beş boyut %63,4’ünü (α = 0,954) açıklamıştır. Düzeltme sonrasında Instagram tercihlileri Instagram’ı dört boyutta, Twitter/X tercihlileri ise Twitter/X’i beş boyutun tamamında daha yüksek değerlendirmiştir. Cinsiyet farkı yalnızca Instagram Yetkinlik boyutunda erkekler lehine anlamlıdır; yaş farkı bulunmamıştır. Bulgular, platform tercihiyle ilişkili değerlendirmelerin belirgin, demografik farklılıkların ise sınırlı olduğunu göstermektedir.
