Öz
21. yüzyılın başında küresel tüketim kültürü, Z kuşağının (1997-2012 doğumlular) belirgin biçimde farklılaşan tercihleriyle ciddi bir dönüşüm içine girmiştir. Bu çalışma söz konusu dönüşümü tarihsel tüketim teorilerinden başlayarak ele almakta; gelir eşitsizliği, iklim kaygısı, dijital yorgunluk ve değer temelli kimlik inşası gibi çok boyutlu dinamikler üzerinden açıklamaktadır. Eleştirel literatür taraması ve kavramsal senteze dayanan çalışma, Z kuşağının tüketimden çekilmesinin yalnızca ekonomik bir kısıttan ibaret olmadığını, bu çekilmenin aynı zamanda bilinçli bir etik duruş, bir kimlik beyanı ve kolektif bir kültürel konum alış olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Çalışma; bu eğilimin kısa vadeli makroekonomik risklerini, uzun vadeli yapısal dönüşüm potansiyelini ve sürdürülebilir bir üretim-tüketim sistemine geçiş için politika çıkarımlarını tartışmaktadır.
