Özet

Örgütler nitelikli çalışanları işe alabilmek ve örgütte kalmalarını sağlayabilmek için kariyer gelişim olanaklarından yararlanırlar. Bu çalışmada örgütlerin sağladığı kariyer gelişimi imkânlarının, çalışanlarının kariyer bağlılıklarına, kariyerlerinden duydukları memnuniyet seviyelerine, örgütlerine olan bağlılıklarına ve işten ayrılma düşüncelerine olan etkiler araştırılmıştır. Geliştirilen veri toplama aracı havacılık yer hizmetleri çalışanlarına uygulanmıştır. Katılımcılardan toplanan geçerli anket sayısı 307’dir. Verilerin incelenmesinde Keşifsel ve Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizlerinin yanı sıra Yapısal Eşitlik Modellemesi analizinden de yararlanılmıştır. Analiz bulgularında çalışanların örgütlerine olan bağlılıklarını arttırabilmek ve kariyerlerinden memnun olmalarını sağlayabilmek için kariyer gelişimi olanaklarından yararlanılmasının etkili olacağı değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Ayrıca kariyerlerine bağlılık gösteren çalışanların örgütte kalmalarını sağlayabilmede kariyer gelişimi olanaklarını sunmasının önemli olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ancak kariyer gelişiminin, çalışanların işten ayrılma düşüncelerini azaltmaya yönelik istatistiksel anlamlı bir etkisi görülmemiştir.
