Özet

Araştırma, örgüt kültürünün çalışanların iş tatmini üzerindeki etkilerini ölçümlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu kapsamda, Pheysey’in dört boyutlu örgüt kültürü sınıflandırması esas alınmıştır. Pheysey, Harrison ve Handy’nin örgüt kültürü sınıflandırmasını referans alarak güç, rol, başarı ve destek alt kültürlerinden oluşan farklı bir yapı ortaya koymuştur. Dolayısıyla, bu araştırmada Pheysey’in sınıflandırmasından hareketle, iş tatminini oluşturmada örgüt kültürünün görece etkisi analiz edilmiştir. Bu çerçevede, araştırma toplam 1152 çalışan üzerinde yürütülmüş, 774 çalışandan geri dönüş sağlanmıştır. Veriler, yüzyüze anket yöntemiyle toplanmış ve yapısal eşitlik modellemesi çerçevesinde analize tabi tutulmuştur. Düşük güvenilirlik katsayısı nedeniyle, güç kültürü araştırma kapsamı dışında bırakılmıştır. Yapısal eşitlik modellemesi analiz sonuçları, örgüt kültürünün iş tatmini üzerinde anlamlı ve pozitif yönde etkisinin olduğunu doğrulamaktadır. Örgüt kültürü alt boyutları açısından bakıldığında, başarı ve destek kültürünün çalışanların iş tatmini üzerindeki etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte, rol kültürünün iş tatmini üzerinde herhangi bir etkiye sahip olmadığı görülmüştür.
