Öz

Bu çalışma, kapalı alan sigara düzenlemeleri bağlamında restoran deneyimini; restoran atmosferi, müşteri memnuniyeti, davranışsal niyetler, katılımcıların sigara kullanım durumu ve değerlendirmenin yapıldığı restoran bölümü üzerinden incelemektedir. Araştırma, servicescape yaklaşımı ve Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) modeli temelinde kurgulanmış; 544 katılımcıdan elde edilen veriler yapısal eşitlik modellemesi ve 2×2 faktöriyel varyans analizi ile incelenmiştir. Restoran atmosferinin müşteri memnuniyetiyle güçlü ve pozitif yönde ilişkili olduğu (β = .849, p < .001) ve davranışsal niyetlerle de doğrudan ve anlamlı bir ilişki gösterdiği (β = .356, p < .001) belirlenmiştir. Müşteri memnuniyeti de davranışsal niyetlerle pozitif yönde ilişkilidir (β = .551, p < .001). Sigara kullanım durumunun genel atmosfer üzerindeki ana etkisi anlamlı değildir (p = .055). Buna karşılık restoran ortamının ana etkisi (p < .001) ile sigara kullanım durumu × restoran ortamı etkileşimi (p = .002) anlamlıdır. Sigara kullanan katılımcılar sigarasız bölümlerdeki atmosferi sigara içilebilir bölümlere göre daha olumlu değerlendirirken, sigara kullanmayan katılımcılarda restoran bölümleri arasındaki fark anlamlı değildir. Bulgular, sigara kullanım durumunun tek başına sigara içilebilir ve sigarasız restoran ortamlarının nasıl değerlendirileceğini açıklamadığını göstermektedir.
