Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, özel okullarda uygulanan yetenek yönetimi uygulamalarının öğretmenlerin kişi-iş uyumu üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Araştırma nicel araştırma yöntemi kapsamında ilişkisel tarama modelinde kesitsel olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri Isparta il merkezinde faaliyet gösteren özel okullarda görev yapan 294 öğretmenden anket yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Açımlayıcı Faktör Analizi, Cronbach alfa güvenirlik analizi, Pearson korelasyon analizi, regresyon analizi ve Yapısal Eşitlik Modellemesi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları, genel yetenek yönetiminin öğretmenlerin kişi-iş uyumunu istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve pozitif yönde yordadığını ortaya koymaktadır. Alt boyutlar incelendiğinde ise sadece yetenek katılımı boyutunun kişi-iş uyumunu bağımsız olarak anlamlı biçimde yordadığı; yetenek çekme, yetenek geliştirme ve yetenek elde tutma boyutlarının ise kişi-iş uyumu üzerinde anlamlı bir bağımsız etki göstermediği belirlenmiştir. Bu bulgular doğrultusunda özel okul yöneticilerinin veya insan kaynaklarının öğretmenleri örgütsel süreçlere aktif biçimde dahil eden ve mesleki potansiyellerini geliştirmeye yönelik katılım odaklı yetenek yönetimi stratejileri benimsemesi önerilmektedir.
